Promote Your Event Services

Virtually any organization, commercial or otherwise, may now use our website as a vehicle for promoting their goods and services.  Choose from three possibilities:

  1. Blocks of Promotional Space -- Options A, B, C

  2. Listing in our Special Event Services Directory

  3. Postings on our monthly Event Calendar

  I.   Promotional Space

You may purchase Small, Medium, or Large spaces virtually anywhere on our website to advertise your company's products and services.  We suggest you consider first, however, the benefits of purchasing A, B, or C -- the very special programs we've packaged below.

A.  Be Our Website Partner.  The very best place to be, for only ONE company can be our exclusive website partner.  The buzzing bee at the top of our Home Page will take viewers directly to your company's I.D.  Your company will be featured in a unique format on every opening page off the Main Button Bar, and repeatedly throughout the site.

Additional marketing considerations on or off our website are negotiable, and may include co-marketing activities, complimentary park passes, and amenities for your employees. 

B.  Hot Spots.  Earn a Large promotional space on the opening page of "Locate a Park or Open Space".  These pages lead to descriptions and maps for all park spaces, and are proven to be the most visited section on our site.  PLUS see your I.D. in three (3) Medium spaces anywhere else on the site.

C.  Selective Sections.  Purchase this category and receive a Medium space on the opening page of any section off the Main Button Bar (except "Locate a Park ... "), and five (5!) Small spaces anywhere on our site.

WHY BUY THESE SPACES?  Research shows most on-line visitors have never clicked on an Internet banner ad, and of those who do, most don't remember what they saw.  It is clear that the "typical" ad is not the answer to customer development on the Web -- establishing relationships with people is.    We can help you establish those relationships by establishing common ground between your interests and those of your potential customers.

Let's face it, most visitors to our site are not looking for your message ... they're looking for ours.  They want information about picnic areas or playgrounds, clean-ups and camping. To help make our customers your customers, we'll introduce your company through nature ... a bald eagle or butterfly, an acorn, egret, or big beautiful bug.  Your promotion will include a message about caring for our land and about the importance of outdoor recreation.  Now you have our website visitor's attention !

But don't wait too long to decide.  We will accept a limited number of partners in order to preserve the value of your opportunity while minimizing commercialism on our site.

II.   Directory of Special Event Services

Each year thousands attend organized activities in your County Parks.  We are offering companies the chance to promote their services to these events organizers.  Our Directory features eight categories:

Party Supplies & Invitations Wedding/Event Planners
Entertainment Photographers& More

Your listings will include business name, contact numbers, 20- to 30-word description (depending on request for a hot link), and company logo. 

III.   Special Events Calendar  

Your listing can include event date(s), location, producer's name, contact numbers, 20- to 30-word description, and hot link to your own URL.  No fee is charged for organizations holding not-for- profit events open to the general public, and for which there is no gate fee.  The listing fees below apply to events that do not meet these criteria.  Please contact us with any questions about this policy.

II.  Directory of Event Services and  Special Events Calendar

Account Setup and Design Fees.  All purchasers will be charged a one-time setup fee of $25.  For initial scan of graphics or photos, add $35.  Current members of the County Park Foundation will be awarded a 20% discount on monthly rates.  There is no charge for our advice on the layout and text you provide. 

Submission of Materials.  Graphics must be in GIF (72 dpi, 256 colors) or JPEG formats.  Text may be submitted in hard copy form, on 3.5" diskette, CD-ROM, or by e-mail to webmaster@sbparks.org.  You may also deliver or mail the information to the

Terms.  A signed Agreement, setup fee, design fee (if applicable), and minimum payment of 4 months must be received prior to activation of service.  Subsequent invoices are net, 14 days from invoice date.  Invoices not paid after 21 days are subject to Parks termination of Agreement, and removal of purchaser's display from website.  Parks retains the right to accept or deny requests for listings/space, and to reject art or copy submitted by purchasers.  Parks makes no warranties regarding the use of this promotion for purchaser's intended purpose.
