January, 2004 Update

This flyer is an update to let you know that the process to develop a plan for Goleta Beach County Park is moving forward and to provide you with information on where to find more information.  A working group of community stakeholders was recently formed and has begun its work of refining information from the visioning sessions and seeking consensus on a long-term master plan for Goleta Beach County Park.  We encourage you to refer to the Goleta Beach web site (see below) for updated information including the final report on the two visioning sessions held in the Fall, working group agendas and minutes and a variety of other related documents, policies, photos and links to additional information.  A binder has been prepared for working group members and copies are available for public viewing at the UCSB Library, the Goleta Library on North Fairview, the 2^nd District office at 105 East Anapamu Street, 4^th floor, and the Parks Department Offices at Rocky Nook Park in Santa Barbara.  Thank you for your continued interest in the Goleta Beach master planning process.
